Pose #25: Okay

Seo You Jin Okay Pose

This pose, like many other poses featured on this site, is frequently used by everyone regardless of race. This gesture creates the word “OK” using your fingers. To create the “O”, join your index finger and thumb, such that it forms a circle. The “K” is created with your remaining fingers extended. The palm of your hand should be facing outwards and your hand can be brought near your face if you wish.

For further reading, you can take a look at the Okay hand gesture described on Wikipedia.

  3. @chobo – I assure you that both of those girls are Chinese. They are Chinese models from Chinese sites

  6. This website is an abomination. To even suggest that “pointing” and the “OK” sign are specifically Asian poses is racist in itself.

  9. The girl in the top left corner is Japanese (as is the text in the corner).

  12. Asian girls’ poses? As I saw, almost all the girls in photos are Koreans. Maybe you should use more girls from other countries.

  13. Maybe you should learn to read more than one page, Bibo :O

  14. I believe the Okay regained in popularity after Lee Hyori’s video clip for u-go-girl…

  15. In some countries, the “okay” gesture is the equivalent of the middle finger salute.

So don’t do it in THOSE countries…

    I’m just saying…

  16. For the record there is an Okay derivative that I haven’t seen in a while called the Takoyaki (octopus treats). The second girl in the collage is almost doing it but you create a Takoyaki with the Okay pinched on your cheek. Thanks for the good laughs.. Cheers.

  17. Just be careful with this one in Brazil…it basically means that you are calling somebody an asshole if you make this gesture!

    Love your site!

  19. Why wouldn’t you memtion that other photos are Koreans? If other does not understand if Gu-Ji-Sung and Su-You-Jin is Korean name, they might misunderstand them as Chinese.

  21. Gu ji-sung is Korean
She is famous racing model in Korea

Steve, you can think they are Chinese because you got these photos from Chinese sites

But that doesn’t mean they are chinese.

For example, I can find Megan Fox photos from Chinese sites.

  22. @jwp – I know Gu Ji Sung is Korean. If you mouse over the images in the gallery you will see what I mean. Although I have changed the list of model names to avoid confusion.

What I originally meant was the first row of the gallery is
    First photo = Chinese girl
Second photo = Gu Ji Sung
    Third photo = Chinese girl
